Meta Muse pricing, explained.
Muse is Meta’s personal AI agent for everyday errands. It has a free tier and two paid plans — and it is not the same product as Muse Code, Meta’s coding agent.
Unofficial guide — plans and billing happen in Meta’s Muse app. Checked October 25, 2026.
Muse plans
Prices are Meta’s US prices from the September 8, 2026 launch. Muse runs on Muse Spark 1.3; Meta says Muse Wonder is coming to the app, subscribers first.
- ✓The full Muse agent: email, bookings, forms, shopping
- ✓About 100M Muse tokens a week, per Mark Zuckerberg
- ✓A payment card is required at sign-up
- ✓More usage for handing off everyday tasks
- ✓Third-party guides report 500M tokens a week
- ✓First in line for new models such as Muse Wonder
- ✓Meta’s highest Muse allowance
- ✓Third-party guides report 3B tokens a week
- ✓For people who hand Muse most of their errands
Meta hasn’t published official weekly token allowances for the paid plans, so treat the 500M and 3B figures as unconfirmed. Prices outside the US, including Japan, may differ and appear in the app before you subscribe.
Meta Muse vs. Muse Code: two products, two bills
Both are Meta products named Muse, and both have plans called Power and Maximum — at different prices.
Where you can use Meta Muse
Downloads called “Muse for Windows” or “Muse desktop” that don’t come from Meta, the App Store, Google Play, or the Microsoft Store aren’t official.
How Muse invite codes work
Muse has a referral program. Every account gets its own invite code under Invite friends. A new user who enters someone’s code in Settings within 48 hours of creating an account gets bonus Muse tokens, and so does the person who shared it — reports put the bonus at 1 billion tokens each.
Third-party reports say each code works a limited number of times (20 to 30, depending on the rollout) and that bonus tokens sit outside the weekly allowance. Meta hasn’t published the terms, so they can change.
An invite code doesn’t unlock Muse in a country where it hasn’t launched, and Muse tokens can’t be spent on Muse Code or the Meta Model API.
Can Meta Muse write code?
Muse is built for errands, not repositories. If you want an agent that plans, writes, and tests code in your projects, that’s Muse Code — a separate product with its own plans from $5 a month, running on Muse Spark 1.3 and Muse Wonder.
What is Muse Code? →Meta Muse pricing questions
Is Meta Muse free?
Yes. Muse has a free tier that Meta says covers what most people need — about 100 million Muse tokens a week, according to Mark Zuckerberg. You still need to add a payment card when you sign up, because usage can move onto a paid plan.
How much does Meta Muse cost per month?
Power costs $20 a month and Maximum costs $100 a month in the US. Both add more usage on top of the free tier, and Meta says subscribers get new models such as Muse Wonder first. Prices in other countries may differ.
Is a Meta Muse subscription the same as a Muse Code plan?
No. Muse Code is Meta’s coding agent and has its own plans: Everyday $5, High $15, Power $50, and Maximum $200. A Muse Power or Maximum subscription doesn’t include Muse Code, and a Muse Code plan doesn’t include the Muse app’s paid tiers.
How do I redeem a Muse invite code?
In the Muse app or at muse.ai, go to Settings and enter the code within 48 hours of creating your account. Both you and the person who shared the code get bonus Muse tokens. After 48 hours you can’t add one.
Is Meta Muse available in my country?
Muse launched in the United States on September 8, 2026 and in Japan on October 23, 2026, for adults 18 and over. Meta hasn’t announced dates for other countries, and an invite code doesn’t change where Muse is available.
Is there a Meta Muse app for Windows?
Not yet. Microsoft announced a native Muse app for Windows on October 7, 2026 without a release date. Until then, use muse.ai in your browser. The Mac app has been available since September 18.
Does Meta Muse use my data for training?
By default, eligible interactions can be used to train Meta’s models; you can opt out in Muse’s settings. Muse Code works differently: its plans start in Contributor mode, which you turn off with /settings.
Is there a Meta Muse API?
Not for the Muse agent itself. Developers use the Meta Model API instead, which sells the underlying models per token: Muse Spark 1.3 at $1.25 / $4.25 per 1M input / output tokens, or Muse Wonder at $4 / $20.
